Two fugitives wanted for attempted murder by the Houma Police Department have been found and taken into custody in Atlanta, Georgia.


This morning, United States Marshals took Neodrey Taplet and Tyrin Thomas into custody, locating them in Georgia.

Both are now awaiting extradition to Houma where they will be charged with 8 counts of attempted second-degree murder.

A third suspect in the case, Keyron Simmons, remains at large.


HPD has said the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
