On October 18th, 2023 a narcotics search warrant was executed at the address of 603 Liberty at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation.

Earl Jay Williams, 35 years old, was investigated for distribution of Heroin after several covert purchases were conducted. After an extensive investigation, a search warrant was executed at the address by the Houma Police Department SWAT team. Evidence collected was 6 grams of heroin, 21 grams of Marijuana, over $4000 in US currency and suboxone. This investigation was all part of a tip that came into the Houma Police Department Narcotics Division.

 

As a result, Earl Jay Williams was arrested for the charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Transactions involving drug proceeds, possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule III narcotics, possession with the intent to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin.


 

The Houma Police Department Narcotics Division would like to thank the Terrebonne Sheriff’s office and the Louisiana State Police for their assistance with closing these cases.
