The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for the person(s) who broke into the Dollar General store in Gray.
At around 5:15 a.m. on Feb. 3, deputies were called to a burglary alarm at the store, which is located at 3410 Bayou Blue Road.
Upon arrival, deputies said they found that forced entry had been made through the front door of the business.
Authorities had reason to believe that the suspect was still on the scene, so they set up a perimeter around the business. Those efforts were unsuccessful. The suspect had fled the scene.
Detectives are seeking information about this crime.
