Investigators learned the child and his six-year-old brother found a loaded handgun in a bedroom at the residence and began playing with it.

UPDATE: Adrian Bell was arrested for one count of reckless operation and three counts of Negligent Injuring. A video of the crash was recorded by a passenger of the suspect vehicle and can be viewed here.

Three bystanders were injured after the driver of a vehicle attempted to “peel out” on Grand Caillou Road at Prospect Road and lost control. The vehicle jumped the curb and went into the crowd, causing the injuries.

The Houma Police Department would like to announce that after further investigation a warrant has been obtained for the arrest of Kereon Alexander, 22 years old. The warrant has been issued for one count of second degree murder.

Michael Dewayne Diggs Jr. was arrested charges of Aggravated 2nd Degree Battery, Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, Illegal Discharge of a Weapon or Dangerous Instrumentality, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm (2 counts), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and arrest warrants for Failure to Appear (2 counts). Two others were arrested for Harboring a Fugitive, Obstruction of Justice, and other drug charges.

The tablet was initially discovered over a hole in a ceiling above the bathroom where a woman lives with her children, two of which are juveniles.

Investigation has shown that there were two groups of individuals involved in some type of verbal altercation. As the altercation escalated, an exchange gunshots erupted between the two groups and struck victims whom were not involved and were just in the area.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a man was arrested after trying to evade a traffic stop due to drugs in his possession. At one point, Guidry appeared to lose control of his vehicle and drove the car into Bayou Lafourche.
