A 33-year-old Thibodaux man is in custody of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office on a $1.1 million bond after he allegedly had sexual contact with a juvenile relative.
On July 29, 2018, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Detectives were notified about allegations regarding Scott Hebert, 33, of Thibodaux.
The allegations claimed that Thibodaux had had sexual contact with a juvenile relative.
Authorities investigated the incident and afterward, detectives obtained a warrant for Hebert’s arrest.
Detectives made contact with Hebert on Aug. 1 and he was taken into custody without incident on all of the active warrants.
He is charged with first-degree rape, aggravated incest and cruelty to juveniles.
His bond has been set at $1.1 million.
Due to the nature of the allegations, LPSO said that it will not release any further details about the case.
