The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday afternoon at a residential property on Coteau Road near Prospect Boulevard in Houma – the 2nd homicide investigation TPSO has started this week.
Col. Terry Daigre, Chief Criminal Deputy, said the investigation is in its earliest stages, but the victim has been identified as Jeramie Coose, 27, of Houma.
“A call was received shortly before 3:30 p.m. from an individual who stated he had shot someone at the location,” Col. Daigre said.
Authorities have not yet made an arrest in the incident.
