Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects responsible for a 2022 Homicide that occurred in the Johnson Ridge community in Thibodaux.

On April 5, 2022, shortly before 8:30pm, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) Patrol Division responded to Livas Lane, in reference to reports of a female that was shot multiple times. When TPSO Patrol Deputies arrived on scene, they located the body of a female, who was pronounced deceased as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.  Detectives arrived on scene and were able to identify the victim as 28-year-old Selena Marquez, of Houma.


 

Sheriff Tim Soignet confirmed that TPSO Detectives have been consistently working this homicide and are releasing the investigation again with the hopes of renewing interest from the public.
