The Houma Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect sought in a vehicle burglary.
Authorities were called to the Bayou Black and Hollygrove area recently after a vehicle was reported stolen.
Authorities said when they got on the scene, the suspect had already fled the area.
HPD said it’s committed to solving the case, but it needs the public’s help to identify the suspect.
He is captured on video surveillance and appears to be a middle-aged black male.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to submit a tip through Bayou Region Crime Stoppers at 1-800-743-7433.
Tips which lead to an arrest could net a cash reward.
