Freedom Fest Crawfish Boil Cook Off- Saturday, June 25

Freedom Fest is happening on the Fletcher main campus, 1407 LA Hwy. 311, and begins at 11:00 a.m. The fest lasts until 8:30 p.m. and includes music, jump houses, obstacle courses, face painting, food trucks, raffle items, silent auction, cornhole tournaments, vendors, and more!! Visit for more information. Entry is $20 for adults, $10 for age 12 and under, and free for two & under.


“We Are the World; We are the Children” Talent and Fashion Event- Saturday, June 25

Come out to enjoy a talent show and fashion show hosted by Yoge’s Custom Designer Fashions! The event will take place at 1107 Barataria Ave. in Houma from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the entry fee is $15.


Mechanicville community Reunion- Saturday, June 25

Kevin Clark Hope Foundation, Black Wall Street Houma District will be Partnering with the Mechanicville Reunion lots of food, informative information in relation to storm damages and lots of fun. Chris Johnson is responsible for bringing the beautification and Reunion to Terrebonne Parish there is Hope! The reunion will take place at Mechanicville Park in Houma from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.


Rolling & Whiskey- Sunday, June 26

Bayou Terrebonne Distillery is bringing back a favorite! Go out to the distillery, 8043 Main Street in Houma, for Nogi Grappling Open mat starting at 11:00 a.m.! It’s a friendly laid-back environment in the beautiful old building that is the community’s only whiskey distillery. Come out to enjoy cajun hospitality, food, and delicious hand-crafted cocktails. All affiliates, teams, ranks, and Grappling styles welcome.
