April 17: Ladybug Ball Children’s Festival (Houma)

At Southdown Plantation House, 1208 Museum Drive, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities include water guns, bean bag toss, face and nail painting, pin the dogs on the ladybug, sand and spin art, ladybug cookie decorating, a ladybug attire contest, silent auction, raffle, ladybug craft making and more.
