April 20; SoLa’s’ Black and Blue Awards: Fighting for the Arts (Houma)

At Melvin’s Restaurant, 1023 Saadi St., from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Recognizes community members who fight to keep the local arts scene alive. Includes a brunch buffet, complimentary mimosas and Bloody Marys and live blues music.
