Teens can learn to shoot their own videos for an entry in the Louisiana Teen Video Challenge. Each year, the contest challenges teens to create a video promoting their local library. Statewide winners are eligible to receive cash prizes and represent Louisiana nationally.

PET DRESS UP SHOW AND TELL

People of all ages can dress up their pets and stop by the library to show off their pampered pets. All animals must be on a leash, and must be able to interact well with other animals.

People ages 12 and up can learn Zentangle, drawing structured patterns to create elaborate art.
