“The Revival” is the latest release by one of the Bayou’s best bands, and it is now available for your listening pleasure. Ben Labat and the Happy Devil delivers a soulful follow-up to their first two albums, and it is loaded with optimistic tunes about love and life.

Labat’s writing and singing, backed by some of the finest musicians in the area, capture what life is about. They blend rhythmic elements of acoustic folk, vocal harmonies of Southern gospel, and the punch of rock and roll.

The band is unsigned by any major labels, and its music is all independently produced. They have shared stages with names such as Jackson Browne, Anders Osborne, Blues Traveler and Dr. John, just to name a few, yet they remain humble and true to their craft. They are definitely worth a listen.

You can download The Revival from iTunes or purchase it through Amazon, and follow them on Facebook or www.thehappydevil.com.

Ben Labat and the Happy Devil’s latest album is soulfully optimistic.
