Those who head to the theater Nov. 6 will be in for a treat when the Nicholls Players present a program titled, “Can Great Live Theater be Created in just 24 Hours?”

The premise of the program is simple.

On Nov. 5, Nicholls students will lock themselves into the Ballroom of the Colonels’ Student Union, while they write, direct, design and act in four-to-six short pieces.

Just 24 hours later, things better be sharp, because they’ll present the fruits of their one day of labor to an audience at 7:30 p.m. in the Le Bijou Theater of the Student Union.

Can it be done?

The Nicholls Players say there’s only one way to find out – and that’s to purchase a ticket and see the play live.

Tickets are $5, and can be bought the night of the show.

Anyone interesting in getting more information is asked to contact the Nicholls Players through e-mail at nichollsplayers@gmail.com, or to call (985) 448-4071.

Anyone wishing to donate energy drinks to the sleepless performers is welcome to do so.
