Fun with Charlie Brown

Houma’s Memorial Park is the place to be Oct. 24, for outdoor Halloween fun. The Houma Regional Arts Council is presenting a couple of movies fit for the occasion. Starting at 8:30 p.m., immediately following the Halloween parade, the family-friendly movies will roll.

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “Garfield’s Halloween Adventure” will play on the outdoor screen.

The “Charlie Brown” classic and “Garfield” animated special are Halloween staples.

Movie-goers are invited to dress in costume.

Seating will be available on the park amphitheatre steps, and the public can bring lawn-chairs.
