Jan. 31: Big Band Bash (Houma)

At the Houma Municipal Auditorium, 800 Verret St., from 8 p.m. until midnight. The Houma-Terrebonne Community Stage Band performs classic “big band” hits, including waltzes and ballads, cha-chas and jazz and driving rock and Latin. The semi-formal event is open to all ages.
