Memorial Day weekend 2011 packs a powerful punch in Baton Rouge with the 2nd annual Bayou Country Superfest.

Kenny Chesney returns to LSU Tiger Stadium, along with Louisiana natives Tim McGraw and Trace Adkins, plus Sugarland, Zac Brown Band, Billy Currington, Luke Bryan, Jason Michael Carroll, Josh Thompson and Lee Brice.

The two-day fest drew more than 87,000 fans in its inaugural outing. Event producer/director Quint Davis is predicting even bigger crowds this year.

“The first Bayou Country Superfest was even greater than we had dreamed, as exciting and powerful as any live concert experience anywhere,” he said. “If you were there – and thousands came from all over America – then you’ve been waiting to come back. If you missed it, then here’s your chance to see an unequalled galaxy of country music superstars to be found only in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, under the skies of Tiger Stadium.”

Tickets are available at the Baton Rouge River Center Box Office or via Ticketmaster. Prices range from $50 to $250 per day. Parking is an additional $20 to $50.
