Oct. 31: Abra-Ka-BOO To Do (Houma)

At Cannata’s Super Market, 6289 W. Park Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The events include a Halloween safety message/magic show by Tammy and Frank Chiasson, face painting and crafts, safety tips from the Bayou Cane Fire and Houma Police departments. Costumes are welcome. Children will trick-or-treat around the store, too. Proceeds from the event benefit K.I.M.’s (Kids In Motion) Playhouse Discovery Museum. (985) 580-1130.
