Racers, take your marks

Area runners get ready for the Super Cooper 5K and 1-Mile Heart Run Saturday, March 27.

Go to The Workout Company at 443 Corporate Drive in Houma. Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by the 1-mile Kids’ Fun Run at 8 a.m., and then the 5K Run.

“The Biggest Loser” participants Abby Rike and Vicky Vilcan will be on hand before and after the race to meet everyone and answer questions, sign autographs and take photos.
