Sept. 18-20: Grand Bois Inter-Tribal Powwow (Bourg)

At 470 Bourg-Larose Highway, from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for students (senior citizens and children under age 12 are admitted free). Gathering of Native Americans sharing their heritage and culture.
