The 10th annual Southern Louisiana Boat, Sport & RV Show will offer a wide selection of the latest outdoor gear this month.

One of the region’s largest outdoor shows, the event returns to the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center Jan. 4-6.

Manufacturers will roll out the latest line of boats, RVs and related items for enthusiasts to view.

“The Southern Louisiana Boat, Sport and RV Show provides something for everyone,” promises Bart Caple, producer of the show. “Whether you’re looking to enhance your current outdoor experience, buy an affordable flat-bottom or even a $600,000 motor home, this three-day event is the ultimate destination to view the latest in outdoor products, features and related items.”

More than 50 brands of boats and RVs will be displayed in the 150,000-plus square feet building. Expect to also find the world’s largest mobile aquarium, a Whitetail Extravaganza featuring nationally-recognized hunting guide Sammy Schrimsher of South Carolina, and a Fish-O-Rama trout pond for the kids.

Friday, Jan. 14, is Family Night. Children under age 12 are admitted to the show for free. Youngsters also get to fish for Rainbow Trout at the Fish-O-Rama for free.

Admission for adults is $6; children ages 6 to 15 pay $2. The event is free to children under age 6.

The hours to the event are 3-8 p.m. Friday, Jan.4; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5; and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6.
