The Audubon Zoo is throwing a Cajun-style party celebrating Louisiana’s heritage at the 24th annual Louisiana Swamp Fest.
The family-style festival will be held on Nov. 1 and 2, at the Audubon Zoo, 6500 Magazine St. in New Orleans. It will feature Cajun cuisine, cultural demonstrations, one-of-a-kind crafts and exceptional Cajun and Zydeco music!
To give fest-goers a variety of music, the live entertainment can be heard from three different venues throughout the zoo. The weekend lineup includes Gal Holiday & the Honky Tonk Revue, Lee Benoit & Clyde Thompson, Bruce Daigrepont Cajun Band, Horace Trahan & Matthew Doucet with the Bluerunners,Magnolia Sisters and Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, Christian Serpas & Ghost Town and BeauSoleil Avec Michael Doucet.
