CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES


Children’s Program: The Terrebonne Parish Library System’s Summer Reading Program “One World, Many Stories” for children continues at each library branch providing storytimes, arts-and-craft workshops, and professional performances. T-shirts and book bags are available to purchase as part of the Friends of the Library fundraiser. Children in kindergarten through 6th grade who read 10 library books will receive coupons for free stuff and are eligible for a chance to win one of 9 bicycles to be given away by the Houma Kiwanis Club and the Friends of the Library at the end of the program on July 23, 2011.
