Wednesday, Feb. 24, 10 a.m. – RELIC (Readings in Literature and Culture) is a four-week program entitled The Creole Identity and Experience in Louisiana. It will be facilitated by Dr. Mary Morton each Wednesday beginning Feb. 24 through March 17 in the DE room at the Main Library. Reading material is available for pickup. Funding is provided by Friends of the Library.

Thursday, Feb. 25, 3:30 p.m. – Free movie featuring The Great Gatsby. A discussion will follow as part of The Big Read presented by the Houma Regional Arts Council, an initiative to restore reading to the heart of America.

Bourg Branch

Friday, Feb. 26, 11 a.m. – Oral History Get-Together featuring The Great Gatsby movie-theme party. This is presented by the Houma Regional Arts Council as part of The Big Read. Bring cover dish.
