Friday, Nov. 5, 1:30 p.m. at Gibson Elementary School – Professional storyteller Buster Jordan will present “It’s Buster Time.” This program was awarded to the Gibson Branch Library and is supported by funds from the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government’s Art Funding Program and administered by the Houma Regional Arts Council and Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library.

Exhibits:

• Charlie Audirsch’s collection of rocks, gems, and minerals are on display in the 2nd floor display cases and lobby. This exhibit can be viewed through the end of the year.

• Michael Sevante’s collection of Toby and character mugs will be on display through December in the lobby.

Tuesday, Nov. 2, 6:30 p.m. – Thinking Out Loud Book Discussion facilitated by Jackie Jackson will meet discuss The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.

Wednesday, Nov. 10, 6 p.m. – “Tracing your Roots at the Library” is an introductory tour and workshop to help you get started tracing your family tree.
