Terrebonne General Medical Center announced that Dr. Ray Cinnater has won the Golden Stethoscope Award, celebrating his 50th anniversary of dedicated service with the organization. 

The prominent Golden Stethoscope Award recognizes a TGMC physician for his or her exceptional level of professionalism, integrity and teamwork in caring for patients and families, as well as interacting with hospital staff members and other physicians on staff.


Nominations can be made by physicians, employees, patients or volunteers and TGMC recognizes two physicians a year.

“It is an honor to recognize Dr. Ray Cinnater as a recipient of the Golden Stethoscope Award and celebrate his 50 years of devoted service to TGMC, its patients and the community,” said Phyllis Peoples, TGMC’s president and CEO. “For five decades, he has provided outstanding internal medicine care to patients.” 

Dr. Cinnater has been with TGMC since 1967 and he has practiced internal medicine with Internal Medicine Associates. 


He has cared for many generations of community members.
