Terrebonne General Medical Center has named Malcolm Boudreaux its Employee of the Month for December.

Boudreaux, a 6-year hospital employee, worked in the facilities department as a multi-craft mechanic.

In a news release, TGMC said its Employees of the Month are given to those who demonstrate outstanding and constant commitment to the well-being of patients, their extended families and staff.

The Employee of the Month also makes it a priority to live TGMC’s mission of providing exceptional healthcare with compassion.

According to TGMC, Boudreaux earned the honor because of his diverse skills and talent base, which allows him to assist with various projects and improvements around campus.

TGMC said Boudreaux always has a positive, outgoing attitude, and he always gives an honest day’s work.

“Working at TGMC is unlike any other job I’ve ever had,” Boudreaux said. “Working at TGMC is more like a community service and a ministry. We help make this place run, which in turn helps the people in our community. The atmosphere is comfortable and my co-workers make it a joyful experience.”
