A Terrebonne General Medical Center nurse has been named among the 2017 Great 100 Nurses of Louisiana.

Kerrie Redmond, RN, earned her place on the list after her great work as the Director of TGMC’s Women’s Health Center.

According to a hospital news release, Redmond’s responsibilities include overseeing the operational, fiscal and clinical managerial director of TGMC’s Labor and Delivery, Maternal Newborn, Level III NICU and Women’s Health and Children’s units.

She’s been a staff member at TGMC for more than 22 years.

“TGMC is incredibly proud of Kerrie for being recognized as part of this year’s Great 100 Nurses,” said Phyllis Peoples, TGMC’s President and CEO. “Throughout Kerrie’s career, she continuously provides exceptional care to our patients and serves as an influential role model to her team. She deserves to be honored for her service and dedication to the career.”

The Great 100 Nurses Foundation was founded in New Orleans 31 yards ago. It has honored thousands of nurses around the country since its inception.
