Terrebonne General will host its ‘Mommy and Me’ support group on Sept. 20 – a one-hour support group designed to help new mothers.
The group provides new mothers a chance to get out the house, be around other women and infants and to get much-needed information on healthcare concerns during the child’s first year of life.
A childbirth educator and lactation consultant are available at each support group meeting to help the new mothers.
The course begins at 10 a.m. and it takes place at TGMC’s Women’s Health Center – Multipurpose Room.
The group is free to all families.
