Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) has been honored with an international Telly Award for its 2017 Cardiology TV commercial, while also being recognized by the Louisiana Society for Public Relations and Marketing with two Pelican Awards.


The Telly Award came for TGMC’s ‘Turbo Power Laser’ commercial, which highlighted the hospital having the only structural heart program and Hybrid Operating Room in the region and TGMC’s world-class cardiology program having the highest level of expertise in the region.

Presented by the New York-based Telly Awards Organization, the Telly’s honor the best local, regional and cable-television commercials and programs, as well as the best video and film productions and also work created for the web.

Less than 10 percent of entries win top honors.


TGMC won the Pelican Awards for their New Way of Health campaign, which highlights the TGMC cardiology, orthopedic, women’s health center and healthy lifestyles center service lines.
