“After the Mission” is focused on homeless veterans and PTSD awareness. The 501 (c) (3) organization founder said, ” They have fought and bled for our country and should not be living in duress and suffering needlessly without the proper support. My passion is to make sure they know they are not forgotten and to get them the resources they need. Myself as well as Sheriff Timothy Soignet of

Terrebonne parish has the shared long-term goal of building a community of tiny homes complete with job opportunities, counseling, physical fitness programs, and other resources.”

In April of 2021, Folse rode his bicycle 2,400 miles from the WWII Museum in New Orleans to Key West, Florida. From Key West, he then made the trip to Washington D.C. The trip was to raise awareness for homeless veterans and PTSD awareness. “I faced challenging weather and unrelenting headwinds as I carried all my supplies with me in a trailer behind my bicycle,” he said in a release, “I didn’t stop because the veterans that have fought for us couldn’t stop.” While in Washington D.C., he spoke with numerous senators and officials on Capitol Hill about the suffering he witnessed on his journey. The trip was made possible by the support of sponsors such as Jeff Landry, Vintage Nightclub, and GOL. It was through their contributions along with numerous others he was able to directly help numerous homeless veterans and volunteered at several VFWs and shelters. He was also able to communicate his passionate message through radio, TV, and numerous speaking engagements.
