Bayou STEM is returning to Lafourche Parish Public Library this November for some exciting, Thanksgiving-themed activities!
At Larose, Gheens, and Lockport library branches, Bayou STEM will teach young scientists how to trick their tastebuds by making sour foods sweet, how to make a Turkeybot, and more! At the Thibodaux branch, young scientists will learn the same tastebud trick, and explore the diet of owls by dissecting owl pellets.
Registration is now open and required for all workshops. Stop by the branches, call, or click here to register. The times and dates are as follows:
- Thibodaux (Grades 4-8): Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Larose (Grades K-3): Monday, November 20, 2023 from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Gheens (Grades K-3): Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Lockport (Grades K-3): Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
