The Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild is excited to announce they will be bringing back Free January Student Art Classes this month.

 

“We used to do this every January before COVID-19 and Hurricane Ida shut us down,” said Janice McBride. “A lot of people in town are already familiar with these free classes and we are so excited to bring it back.”


 

The classes will take place on the Saturday’s below. Students will be separated into two age groups, and each class will feature a different teacher.

 

  • Saturday, January 13, 2023
    • 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m: 2nd-6th graders
    • 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m: 7th-12th graders
  • Saturday, January 20, 2023
    • 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m: 2nd-6th graders
    • 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m: 7th-12th graders
  • Saturday, January 27, 2023
    • 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m: 2nd-6th graders
    • 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m: 7th-12th graders

 

To register for the free art classes, please visit the Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild at 630 Belanger Street in Houma. The classes in January will finish just in time for the Guild’s 50th Annual Student Art Show from February 4-11, 2024, open to all grades.
