Calling all gaming fans: the Terrebonne Parish Library North Branch now hosts the brand-new Gaming Lab, a free-to-play experience for teens and older. 

The lab is open during the following hours: Monday – Thursday: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Friday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. 


The lab has multiple gaming options including PlayStation and Xbox consoles, 2 Nintendo Switch Consoles, 3 Virtual reality (VR) Headsets and 6 gaming PCs. 

The library also has 3 large TV screens to connect consoles, 100+ free games to play across consoles and plans to add more games. 

Controllers and headsets can be checked out at the front desk for use in the Lab and must be returned upon leaving the room. 


All games are rated for teens and under. Patrons aged 18 and up may request games for all devices through the library webpage at mytpl.org/gaming-lab.
