In celebration of American Heart month, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center will host it’s “Living a Heart Healthy Life” educational program and complimentary lunch on Friday, Feb.18.
The one hour event will feature guest speakers Cardiologist Dr.Akshit Sharma, Neurologist Dr. Tashfin Huq, and Dietitian Nutritionist Claire Chiasson. The program will discuss the importance of cardiovascular health, healthy eating, physical activity, and tips on how to lower your blood pressure and cholesterol.
Registration must be completed by Wednesday, Feb. 16, seating is limited.
The program will be held on the fifth floor of the Wellness Center located at 726 N Acadia Road, for 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
