Who will be crowned King and Queen of the Gala Goes to Mardi Gras? Here’s your last chance to vote! Voting officially closes at 8:45 p.m. tonight! Eight local contestants have been busy raising money for Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, and competing for the 2023 royalty titles. The male and female to raise the most money will be crowned as King and Queen of the Gala.

The following contestants are currently in lead for Queen of the Gala:

  • Courtney Carrere Sanford, with a current total of $8,545.47 raised
  • Kandice B. Francis, with a current total of $8,100.26 raised

The following contestants are currently in the lead for King of the Gala:


  • Sheriff Timothy Soignet, with a current  total of $6,249.02 raised
  • Jason “The Cajun Ninja” Derouen, with a current total of $2,653.14 raised

The total raised by all contestants thus far is $40,506.79, with a total of 326 donors!
