After careful consideration of the weather with parish officials, the Krewe of Aquarius will roll as scheduled, Saturday, February 23 at 6:30 p.m.
“This is our 25th anniversary year,” shares Cheryl LeBlanc, parade captain. “We are a large parade and we want our krewe to have their night. We know we’ll still get some showers, but hope everyone comes out to see us!”
This year’s theme is “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, represented by Queen Shairee Jones. Every fifth year, Aquarius includes the word “fun” in the theme title, a tradition since the club was established.
