The Bayou Country Children’s Museum announced their annual Play It Forward Casino and Auction Night has been scheduled for Friday, March 25th at the Foundry on the Bayou in Thibodaux. This year’s event will not only feature its one-of-a kind cocktail trail, gaming tables, silent and live auctions, but it will also be a step back in time with a Gatsby theme featuring a VIP Speakeasy, live music, delicious local cuisine, and more.

Since the landfall of Hurricane Ida, the Bayou Country Children’s Museum has remained closed due to damage sustained by the storm. The Board and Administration has worked diligently to recover the funds necessary to rebuild and open the museum doors. “We are fully committed to opening our doors and serving our community as quickly as possible,” says Arianna Mace, Director. “The success of our Play It Forward Fundraising event is an integral piece to that plan,” Mace added.

Prior to Hurricane Ida, BCCM provided an opportunity to learn about Bayou culture, food, agriculture and festivals by exploring gallery exhibits designed to inspire and educate children to explore. Additional information about the event and sponsorship opportunities can be found on the Bayou Country Children’s Museum’s website: www.bccm.info.
