Blueprint La. to host Young Leaders meeting in Houma

Blueprint Louisiana will gather today, March 5, at Houma’s downtown Coffee Zone, to engage local Young Leaders.

Terrebonne Parish President Michel Claudet will update the group on local progress.

“This is an opportunity for young adults in the Bayou Region to be part of civic engagement, community involvement and political activism,” said Wes Gautreaux, director of Blueprint’s Young Leaders. “Blueprint Louisiana is providing them with a forum for their voices to be heard. It is now time for them to speak up.”

The Young Leaders Program, a facet of Blueprint Louisiana, focuses on recruiting college students and young professionals. The nonpartisan effort is led and supported by community and business leaders statewide.
