La. Highway 1 at Superior Shipyard south of Golden Meadow is completely blocked, as of 9:45 a.m.
The roadway is blocked because of a vessel fire and fire department workers need to run a hose across the highway to extinguish the blaze.
Port Fourchon officials will update the situation and let us know when the roadway reopens.
