U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced the Greater Lafourche Port Commission will receive $2,085,652.80 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricane Ida relief for damages.

“Ports are a vital part of Louisiana’s and our nation’s economy,” said Dr. Cassidy.“This funding will help the port and community fully recover from the storm.”
