September 27, 2016Fletcher Technical Community College is offering local contractors a prep course for a state exam.
The course will give small and emerging construction businesses information on construction management and prepare contractors for the General Contractors State Licensing Exam. The course is open to those who have an established, Louisiana-based construction business or have an intent to start one.
The six-week course starts on October 3 with two, two-hour sessions per week. The sessions will be each Monday and Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Attendees must attend at least 80 percent of the course to qualify for completion.
Registration for the course closes at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 and costs $200. Go to fletcher.edu/lcai for more information.
