Relay for Life of Terrebonne Parish announce the sale of luminarias in honor every life touched by cancer. A Luminarias Ceremony will be held at the Relay for Life event on April 23.
Luminarias can be purchased in dedication to a loved one lost, someone currently battling, or anyone who’s overcome it. Contact someone you know on the Relay for Life team or visit https://www.facebook.com/RelayForLifeofTerrebonneLA to purchase a white or purple luminaria.
“After dark, Relay participants share an emotional moment when each Luminaria is lit in remembrance of a life touched by cancer. Together, we take a moment of silence to remember the loved ones they’re dedicated to. When you make a donation for a Luminaria it helps fund the American Cancer Society’s mission to help save lives,” reads a statement from the event website. The 2022 live & in person Relay for Life of Terrebonne Parish event will take place on Saturday, April 23 from 3 p.m.-11 p.m. at the Barry P. Bonvillain Civic Center.
