Fletcher offers open jobs fair March 28

Fletcher Technical Community College will host its annual CareerLink Job Fair at the main campus, 310 St. Charles St., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 28

Interim Dean of Student Affairs Stanton McNeely said the event has become a tradition for businesses to show their offerings, students to learn what openings are available and members of the public to make use of this resource in getting back to work of expanding their careers.

“We usually see a minimum of 20 companies participate,” McNeely said. “It has been growing each year as our college has grown and as we have added new programs such as our integrated technology program in deepwater exploration.”

McNeely said that having a strong relationship with oil companies and a known presence in business, health science and industry has offered a greater representation of available jobs.

“We have seen hundreds of students participate and as a technical community college we welcome members of the community to our campus to participate in the event.”
