September 2, 2011As a tropical rain system formed off the coast of Louisiana on Thursday, officials in Terrebonne Parish began making preparations for a forecast of up to 15 inches of rainfall being possible through the weekend.
Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government, as part of their preparation effort, designated sandbag locations for the area. As of 4 p.m. on Thursday, sandbags were available at:
Point-au-Chene Fire Station
Montegut Fire Station
Ward 7 Center
Grand Caillou Fire Station
Upper Bayou Dularge Fire Station
Lower Bayou Dularge Fire Station
