July 16, 2008A seminar on the tax obligations of new businesses will be held on Wednesday, July 30, at the Terrebonne Parish Main Library from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The class will be taught by local tax professional Douglas Boudreaux.
Topics covered will include employer identification numbers, business taxes, methods of accounting, information returns, record keeping and possible penalties.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the Terrebonne Economic Development Authority.
