The Elleanor Claire Memorial Foundation proudly announces the unveiling of a heartfelt tribute to honor the legacy of Terrebonne organ donor, Elleanor Claire Bergeron. ECMF, in collaboration with the community, has erected a poignant Organ Donation Flag, symbolizing hope, generosity, and the enduring impact of organ donation.
This special tribute, dedicated to the memory of Elleanor Claire Bergeron, stands as a beacon of light, inspiring individuals to consider the incredible gift of organ donation and its life-saving potential. The flag serves as a tribute not only to Elleanor’s legacy but also to all individuals who have selflessly given the gift of life through organ donation.
“We are honored to unveil this meaningful tribute to not only Elleanor Claire but all child organ donors,” said Leilani Adams, Chairman. “This flag serves as a symbol of hope, encouraging conversations and actions that can save lives through organ donation.”
The Elleanor Claire Memorial Foundation invites the community to join in a special unveiling ceremony to celebrate the first of many flag pole installations across the state and to promote the vital importance of organ donation. The ceremony will take place on December 11, 2023 at 1pm at Coteau Bayou Blue Park. All are welcome to attend.
