May 21, 2007Houma Police arrested a local man Friday in connection with last month’s burglary of a home in the 100 block of Whispering Oaks Trailer Court.
Authorities said Alex J. Bergeron, 18, of 9024 East Main St., Houma, was charged with simple burglary and jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Jail.
The charges stem from a residential burglary that occurred the night of April 29, police said. Bergeron is accused of having pried the back door to the house and stolen a PlayStation 2 gaming console, a digital camera, laptop computer and various clothes, according to police.
