A 22-year-old Houma man was arrested Monday evening for exposing himself from the glass door of his residence, according to police.

Houma Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Winrock Drive to speak to several witnesses who reported the incident.

Joey T. Lapeyrouse, of 707 Winrock Dr., was arrested for obscenity after police learned he exposed himself. According to the witnesses, they didn’t notice Lapeyrouse until he hit on his glass door to gain their attention.

If convicted of obscenity, Lapeyrouse could face a maximum penalty of $2,500 fine and three years in jail, police said.
