January 10, 2007A Houma woman was shocked Monday morning to discover the tailgate of her 2003 Chevy Silverado missing after she left the vehicle parked in her driveway overnight, said a Houma Police spokesman.
Lt. Todd Duplantis said the woman called police, who arrived at her Amarillo Drive home in West Houma at 9:45 a.m. The woman said she’d parked the car in her driveway and, during the night, someone had stolen the tailgate.
Duplantis said police patrolled the area, but didn’t find the stolen tailgate. Anyone with information is asked to call Houma Police at (985) 873-6371.
